The name of the tournament is Texas Scramble.

The tournament is held at Jæren Golfklubb on 22 April 2012 from 10:00 to 14:30.

Registration starts the 23 March 2012 at 00:00.
Registration deadline is on the 20 April 2012 at 20:00.

Tournament fee consist of age.
  • For all players, if age is between 19 and 100 year, is tournament fee 100 NOK.
  • For all players, if age is between 7 and 18 year, is tournament fee 50 NOK.


Greenfee is 300 NOK per players.

The tournament is a scramble tournament.

There will be played in a total team group.

Every team must be set up by 3 players.

The tournament is an open tournament.

Max. number of teams are 14.

The tournament has a waiting list sorted after "first come - first serve" principle.

The tournament has handicap limitations divided by gender.
  • For ladies then handicap not higher than 54.0.
  • For men then handicap not higher than 54.0.


1st round will be played 22 April 2012.

There will be played on the course Jæren GK 09.09.15.

There will be played strokeplay without handicap over 18 holes.

Playing with a maximum handicap allowance of 36.0.

There will be played from different tees used for gender.
  • All ladies must be played from red tee.
  • All men must be played from yellow tee.


With a tied result the positions are decided after lowest playing handicap, lowest handicap, last 9, last 6, last 3 and last hole.

Tied 1st. place determined by sudden death playoff.

Turneringen er shotgun og begynner kl 10:00
Dette er en kjekk, sosial og uformell turneingsform der en spiller på "beste ball" - dvs at de tre dårligste ballene blir plukket opp og så dropper en der den beste ballen ligger og slår videre derfra.
Alle må ha minst to tellende utslag.

Dette er en kjempefin måte å prøve seg i turneringer på samt en utmerket anledning til å bli kjent med nye golfvenner.
